THE SCRAP MEDAL for Being Surrounded By Idiots goes to tantrum-tossing speedskaer Sven Kramer of the Netherlands. During the first weekend of the games, an NBC reporter asked Kramer - immediately after witnessing him win a gold medal - what his name was and what he had competed in. Kramer understandably (but impolitely), shot back "Are you stoopeed?"

The following weekend, though, Kramer realized who was even stoopeeder: his coach, Gerard Kemkers, who ordered his athlete to switch into the wrong lane during the the 10,000 meter race, costing Kramer the gold medal and a world record. For a moment, the pity of the world was Kramer's, until he once again overreacted, flinging his goggles (understandable), kicking a lane divider (well, OK), and shoving a random Olympic volunteer (inappropriate)!

Good thing Kramer didn't win the gold, silver, or bronze that time around. Now we can see those aren't his true colors.
