We seem to be made to suffer. It's our lot in life.

So, the movie came out. Did you see it? We saw it, here at the company, packed everyone off and out to the multiplex last Thursday afternoon. The best part was Dana Brean in research getting sick on nachos and popcorn.

Anyhow, seeing as how this is the last Friday of May, it's also the last Friday of our grand themed month fest-o-rama. So, over at the Star Wars section we have our in-house anti-Walter Monheit, Zonar, reviewing the um, I guess you'd call it, what? Double Trilogy? Yeah, so there's that. Also, more lists and a couple of items involving beloved secondary and tertiary characters you've likely forgotten.

One last thing-- The Frankenstein yell? What?!?

Actually, these are the very droids for which you've been looking, right here. See? Droids.

Yeah, yeah, sure the film came out this week, but do you honestly think that means we're not going to keep posting things? Please, this just keeps us going until the Radioland Murders prequel hits theatres.

So, yes, Revenge of the Sith was finally released and we offer the following stuff up to you, our dear readers-- In Transmissions, Calamity Jon Morris brings us the last weblog entry for the Death Star stormtroopers and Mr. Brockie sends along a sad tale of a love's end. Over in lists, find out exactly at which point George Lucas knew when to say "No." Next week, a couple more transmissions, a list or so and our resident alien film critic's opinions on the films.

Unrelated at all to this Space Wars stuff, our new forum is up and running, complete with a special section for Zonar, who will answer your questions with his special brand of insight and understanding.

Why was Lucas on 'The OC?'

Godfrey Daniels, the Star Wars stuff just keeps on a-coming.

First and foremost, we get back to what we do best around these parts- making fun of found images, with the Parade of Unfortunate Star Wars Costumes.

Also, we introduce a couple of comics, along with a few more entries in the Transmissions and lists sections.

These aren't the nerds you're looking for

Hey, if Time and Newsweek and Playboy can exploit the Star Wars phenomenon with cover stories this month, so can we and so we shall. All this month, capnwacky.com will be bringing you Star Wars related humor. If you're a fan, laugh with us. If you're not, laugh at us. Either way.

Our all Star Wars section is up! Visit Cap'n Wacky's Death Star of Fun. There you'll find Transmissions (a series of essays by SW characters in their own words), this week: The Contents of Princess Leia's E-mail Outbox, Call Me Hammerhead, and two Stormtroopers get Back To Work.

Cap'n Wacky is also proud to present our first online video-type sketch, the first of several planned, in association with A Monkey & A Typewriter Productions. Get a load of Recruit of the Jedi.

We've got another group-produced list piece, use the force and click to learn about Alternate Star Wars Subtitles.

Even our regular Disgruntled Employee of the Month feature is getting in on the Star Wars action.

Phew. OK, that's enough for one week. Check back every Friday this month for a LOT more (including, next week, the premiere of the Parade of Unfortunate Star Wars Costumes, and as always, we'd love to hear what you think of things in our online forum.
