It's summertime! Stop sitting around inside and reading comedy on the internet! Get out and play? OK, here's a list first: Less Popular Bumper Stickers by contributor Rich Piepho. Now out! Still not going, eh? OK, how about this: we're taking the summer (somewhat) off! The Monsters' Republic of Monstairia WILL continue to update every Wednesday, but the regular Friday comedy updates are suspended from now through August. Maybe, if you're good, we'll pop in for a Zonar update and maybe even a list, but the regularity is on hold for the summer.

Instead, we're going to Rockaway Beach!

Yes, dreamy Rockaway Beach, where the water is so thick you can sit on it and the girls are still modest enough to cover themsevles from neck to knee with loose, flowing fabric (and ballet shoes). If... if that is a girl, that is. Maybe there's a reason she likes that fabric so loose. Also, that's got to be a wig, doesn't it? Now picture that same head with short cropped hair instead.
